Executive Committee

The work of the Society is undertaken principally by a committee of volunteers elected from the membership and meeting regularly throughout the year. Five 'offices' - Chair, Vice-Chair, Honorary Secretary, Honorary Treasurer and Membership Secretary - are also elected from those serving on the committee. Other posts are appointed from amongst committee members.

Members of the Executive Committee increasingly take responsibility for specific areas of concern and can lead sub-committees or working groups to develop strategy and plan action on behalf of the Executive Committee.
