Greenwich Town Centre Scheme

The Royal Borough of Greenwich is conducting a public consultation about its proposals for the town centre and the projects and plans that are being made as a result of acquiring Liveable Neighbourhood funding. Information is being circulated to households and public 'engagement' sessions have been scheduled. Everyone is encouraged to examine the council's proposals and to add their comments - before the 17th February 2019.

At the recent open Executive Committee Meeting, Joel De Mowbray, Principal Transport Planner for the Royal Borough of Greenwich, explained the background and thinking behind the council's proposals

 

A major element in the plans is the part-pedestrianisation of Greenwich Town Centre and a link with one of the cycle superhighways
